I grew up in Chesterfield, Virginia and finally moved off to Richmond for my college education. I went to VCU (GO RAMS) and got my Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. I worked for the State of Virginia for 4 years and went back to VCU to get my MBA. I continued living in Richmond until a job opportunity opened up at Fort lee, VA working for the Corps of Engineers as a project manager. I took it and moved back to what I call home. I have been here for a year and a half now.
I live with my boyfriend/high school sweetheart and our 2 dogs, 2 cats, and fish. We are loving redecorating the house that is exactly as my grandparents left it- from the 1950s! We love to travel together, cook together, watch movies and go out to eat. Probably more than we should!
I have always loved doing crafts and I think I have tried it all in my life. I cross-stitched when I was a teenager, I painted ceramics. I have done scrapbooking, jewelry-making, wreath making and picture frames.
It is currently narrowed down to the wreath making and frame painting. I started my Etsy shop not too long ago and hope that I can make a go of that. I would love to have the opportunity to work from home doing something I love.
I am the youngest of 2 kids, my older sister lives next door to me. My parents and stepparents are all in good health and I have been blessed to have my grandparents for most of my life. I have been a very lucky girl.
I am a strong believer that you can do whatever you put your mind to. If there is a goal you want to achieve, go for it! I am always pushing myself to go farther as I never want to look back at this life and regret not having gone after one of my dreams.
